1. What is included in the Aurora 14-day trial?
The Aurora trial includes all of the features of found in the purchased software, including the ability to relight, add visual punch, crop and straighten, plus many tools for publishing, sharing, and organizing photos.

2. How much does Aurora cost?
You can buy Aurora for $19.95 USD.

3. How do I retrieve my original photo once I’ve saved my edits?
Right click on the image and choose the item “Delete Edits”. This will remove your edits.

4. How do I edit photos not in my “Pictures” folder?
Aurora, by default, displays the contents of your “pictures directory” on your computer. If you have your pictures under a different directory follow these steps:
1. Highlight “Pictures” folder icon in Aurora (on the left-hand side)
2. Click on “File” in the menu bar
3. Select “Change pictures folder” in the File menu
4. You will then be able to browse you folders on your computer and select any folder you’d like.

5. Is there an Apple version of Aurora?
Yes. Aurora for Mac is available with the following system requirements: MacOSX 10.5 10.6 (Leopard and Snow Leopard), 1 GB RAM, Intel only.

6. How do I buy Online Backup?
Aurora has a menu item “Set Up Aurora Backup”. Click on this item and follow the instructions. You will need a credit card and an Amazon account.

7. I lost my activation code, what do I do?
There are a couple of options. 1) Email support and we can look up customer information (support@lightcrafts.com). or 2) Visit the Avangate support website, and follow instructions from there.

8. Aurora closed down (crashed), what do I do now?
Wait for a short period of time and then relaunch Aurora. If you continue to have difficulty please contact support@lightcrafts.com, and describe what you were doing at the time of the crash.

9. What types of image files does Aurora support?
Aurora currently supports JPEG files. JPEG is the most common format for photos.

10. What cameras does Aurora support?
Aurora supports all cameras that are capable of creating JPEG files.

11. What are the system requirements to be able to run Aurora?

Aurora for Mac: OS X 10.5 or 10.6 (Leopard and Snow Leopard), 1 GB RAM, Intel processor.

Aurora for Windows: Windows 7, Vista or XP (with SP2), 1 GB RAM. 2GHz or Dual Core processor recommended.

An Internet connection is necessary for activation and to access online backup.

12. Can you send me a copy of Aurora on CD?
Aurora is only available online and is not distributed on CD or DVD.

13. How do I import photos from my camera into Aurora?
1. Insert your memory card into your favorite printer or insert the card directly into your computer if there is a compatible slot. Aurora will launch and begin importing the contents of your memory card once your computer detects the printer activity.
2. If you import using a cable connected to your camera, hook the other end, into your computer and Aurora will launch and begin importing the contents of the memory card.
